Produced in 1977, O’Neill: Two Families tells the story of the Milwaukee Repertory Theatre’s staging two Eugene O’Neill plays back to back: Ah, Wilderness and Long Day’s Journey into Night. It follows the actors in a visit to Monte Christo Cottage, O’Neill’s boyhood home, and provides a great deal of background on O’Neill’s life. It includes excerpts from each play and interviews with the actors.
